Metra - Delayed travel time over an hour due to track construction

Delayed travel time over an hour due to track construction during rush hour is ridiculous. Metra needs to find a more appropriate time frame to conduct track construction. There are pregnant women that ride the train daily and can not rely on this service if they spontaneously go into labor.

Metra - Warm smelly cars and fare hikes

So it’s been getting warmer and the trains are still full of stale warm air. With people smelling and the venting system makes a horrible ride. All while ticket prices go up for the pensions of the insiders. Typical Chicago run agency, spend to much and tax raises later.

Metra - New Sauna Cars

The new Metra sauna cars are amazing! I no longer have to go to the gym to sweat like a pig! All the cars are missing are the stones to pour water over to add steam. Great addition to the fleet, right up there with the conductors who refuse to enforce the quiet car rules. What new service will they think up next? I can't wait!

At minimum the train runs between 15-20 minutes behind schedule at least 2x a week or more, one time it was 40 minutes, it’s the same excuse each time “mechanical issues” I’m not buying that, someone is either running late to work (conductor or crew) causing the train to have no choice but to wait for them. It is ridiculous how inconsistent the train is when you rely on it to take you downtown on TIME! I would like to know what is Metra...

Metra - Over budget and behind schede

You pay $200 a month to be late to work. This is the most disfunctional organization I’ve ever given money to. I honesty do not have any idea how they manage to mess up so often. Thankfully, they raise our rates so we can fork over more money to be wasted!
