Imagine spending 75$ on a Monthly ticket and then not receiving a ticket, let alone having to wait an estimate of 7 to 10 days for a refund when this was literally my travel money for work.. then not only that, having to deal with engineers who drive half way past train platforms forcing people to have to step down off big drops..

dont even get me started on the damn bed bugs I've been spotting lately on these trains.. no bathrooms at certain stations.. mostly the low income areas.. good job metra for only giving a crap about the rich folk..

and what is the deal lately with all these mechanical problems? Does metra not have the funds to replace proper parts for engines I mean for crying out loud..

my only postitive thing I have to say is the Conductors are nice.. otherwise I'd give a 1 star rating.

Sadly a necessary evil.

Take part of the 64 billion that Biden stole from taxpayers to repair your trains. One broken down train causes all other trains to be stopped.

Maybe devise a plan to get the broken down trains moved out of the way quickly?

Classic case of government incompete and complacency.

Metra arriving earlier at every stop and leaving earlier leaving customers stranded for next train-than predetermined earlier at

Arrived several times at different metra stops at the scheduled time only to find out that train left 10-15 minutes earlier. No respect for people's time.

Metra sucks

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Always late or missing. The bnsf line is a disaster, as is all of metra.

About 50% of the times I try to take it to or from work it operates extremely late, if it shows at all. Yet metra posts that the train is "on time", and when there is no train coming metra doesn't bother to tell the dozens of people waiting at the stops...metra simply sucks.

I have a visible disability, and every time I catch the 5:10 Train to Blue Island, I have to stand half the time. Metra allows people with bicycles to take up 6 seats. There are no seats for handicap

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I feel if one or two bicycles take up all the side streets, then the people with the bicycles should stand up. The conductors should even make people get up who have rotators, or canes, or senior citizens.

Public service from a conductor

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Because Metra is a governmentally funded business it is not very diversity friendly. I would like to know how it is while a loud African-American gentlemen is on the same train car as a loud white gentleman is and yet an African-American conductor tells the white gentleman to keep it down but does not address the African-American.

Where I come from that's racism.

But I understand the government protects the African Americans. I just find it very disgraceful that we cannot be in a world where color doesn't matter.

  • I am disappointed in the african-american conductor racism

User's recommendation: My recommendation is to retrain your conductors to not be racist to view everyone as a person and not a color
